The location of the primary schools in the province of Naitasiri is one of major difficulties faced by the Naitasiri Highlanders team in preparing their U-9 to the U-14 grades for the FMF Chow Kaji tournament in Labasa next week.

Vice President Paula Taura said the side is made up of students from the schools in the Nausori area and stretching out as far as Nawaisomo District School, in the upper Wainimala River, and to get the players together it takes one whole day. He said this has forced them to assemble the side together in the weekends.

Taura said the teachers in the respective schools have been holding training daily with the boys to help them with their fitness.

The Highlanders team will be fielding a total of 126 players for the Kaji Games and although the Fiji Primary Schools Rugby Association will be paying for their travelling fees, each student will have to fork out $40 dollars for the trip to pay for their meal and accommodation allowances.

The FMF Chow Kaji tournament will be held in Labasa next week.
