The Nadi Weather Office warns that localized flash flooding is expected today for most parts of the country as a trough of low pressure moves over the group.
Weather Office Director Rajendra Prasad said people living in flood prone areas should be on alert and poor drainage and continuous heavy rain is expected to cause some flooding today.
The trough is moving from the west to the eastern division and heavy rain is forecast for Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Lau and the Lomaiviti group and the eastern parts of the larger islands from Navua to Tailevu areas today.
