All the local top sides for the Upraising International Sevens next January have been confirmed at the launch in Deuba yesterday.

Leading the charge are defending champions Red Rock, also have Coral Coast sevens champion Warden with last year's finalist Army Green, together with other clubs like Marist, Ratu Filise, and Police which make up the local based side.

Chief Guest Eric Rush while launching the Upraising International sevens, said that overseas team will feel the competition, when coming to Fiji where sevens is mostly played, at the top level with most of the club teams on any given day can beat some of the best teams in the IRB seven series.

The organizers have only confirmed participation of two overseas teams, so far, Australian Thunderbolts and France.

A strong New Zealand side and Samoa are also expected.

The Upraising International Sevens will be held on the 20th and 21st of January at the TFL Stadium.
