Wallaby great and 1991 Rugby World Cup winning winger David Campese believes a local should coach the Flying Fijians.
Known as Campo in his playing days when he introduced the goosestep, the former Australian international said Fiji rugby needs people who are committed in development of the sport.
Campese said that FRU should pick the best available candidate for the 15s rugby coach.
He believes that 2007 RWC Fiji coach, Ilivasi Tabua has what it takes to take the team forward.
Campese is in the country as chief guest in the Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s.
