Two local players in the Vodafone Fiji Bati side are keeping their fingers crossed to make their debut in the Rugby League World Cup quarterfinal against Samoa.

Nabua Broncos center Ilisavani Jegesa and Makoi Bulldogs second row Tikiko Noke are yet to play in the tournament.

Another player who has not played is Kaliova Tani who has featured for the Bati in the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.

One of the three players is highly likely to fill the spot of suspended Korbin Sims next Monday.

The Bati is already preparing for their clash against Pacific Island neighbors Samoa with head coach Rick Stone trying to put together a strong side.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati will take on Toa Samoa in the last quarterfinal at 4am Monday.

In other quarters, New Zealand faces Scotland at 9am Saturday, Australia will meet USA at 3am Sunday while England faces France at 9am Sunday.
