The Uprising International 7s will give a chance to close to 100 local based players to impress the national selectors.

This comes after the Fiji Rugby Union allowed the Digicel Fiji 7's team to use the Uprising 7's as their final ground of selection for the NZ and USA 7's.

Uprising 7's Chairman, Culden Kamea said that this 8 local based club will be rubbing shoulders with the best from abroad like the Australia Thunderbolts which is made up by most of the players in their IRB 7's series squad.

Kamea also confirmed that they now finalising the details of some other overseas team which will be taking part in this tournament.

The local teams are Red Rock, Army Green, Marist, Ratu Filise, Uprising, Wardens and Police.

The Uprising International 7's will be held on the 20th and 21st of January.
