Hoteliers want consistency, quality and quantity in products and foods that are produced locally however this is lacking hence the turn to imported goods.

Fiji Islands Hotel and Tourism Association vice president Patrick Wong said this has been a long standing problem adding that something should be done so that the industry can go local all the way which in the long run is much cheaper.
