Local designers need recognition and a platform to showcase their work and this is what we're providing for them.
These are the words of Managing Director Fiji Fashion Week, Ellen Whippy-Knight on Fiji Fashion Week and Established Designers and Asia Pacific Emerging Designers Show, which starts tomorrow and ends on Sunday.
Whippy-Knight said their main aim is to help local and emerging designers get on the right footing in the industry.
She said there will are a lot of local designers taking part which includes the likes of Rosi Emberson Semisi, Lambert Ho and Aisea Konrote.
Fiji Fashion Week starts tomorrow with the Purple Dress Charity Luncheon and Kids Fashion Show at the Holiday Inn.
All proceeds will be donated to the Kidney Foundation of Fiji.
