A local company has been given the green light to start off another TV station in the country. The company namely Channel Two is owned by a local businessman, Mike Brooke with an Australian partner.
Interim Minister for Communications, Taito Waradi said 5 other applications are still being looked into and a Canadian company is one of the front runners.
Waradi adds the process should at least take a month and they are looking at the level of investment they can bring to the country.
It’s not known at this stage on how many licenses will be given.
