The Fiji National Rugby League is now hoping that the Australian Immigration department will review its current stand on local players who have secured contracts.

FNRL official Rusi Ratakele said this season 29 players were given a chance to play in the New South Wales Country league competition as part of their build-up to the World Cup where they reached the semi-final.

Ratakele added the bond imposed on players to pay by the Australian Immigration department before they will leave the country is too high since most of their contract is less than that amount.
