Fiji soccer will never be able to match the overseas teams unless local coaches’ changes their attitude towards the overseas coaches brought in to help Fiji soccer reach greater heights.

Ba soccer president Rishi Kumar said former officials and players of other districts have started to criticise Fiji FA officials and coach Carlos Buzetti after the National Under 20's poor performance in the Oceania playoff's, where they failed to win a single match.

Kumar said local coaches in the country do not like to see any overseas coach to make their name in Fiji and this is happening from the time, Fiji FA started to bring in experts like Michael Urukalo, Les Schienflug, Tony Buesnal, Harry Bingham and Lee Sterry, to name a few.

He said instead of helping Buzetti to take soccer forward, local coaches are trying to take soccer to backwards.
