Local 7's players who missed out on selection in the National 7's team will get another opportunity to prove themselves at the Uprising Fiji International 7's, under the guidance of New Zealand's Gordon Tietjens and 7's Maestro, Waisale Serevi.

Tournament Co-ordinator Randall Kamea said the two will work together to coach the Digicel Matai 7's team.

The team comprises of local players who have impressed in the past tournaments, but have missed out on selection into the Digicel Fiji 7's team.

Meanwhile, organizers still cannot confirm whether 7's Maestro Waisale Serevi will take the role of Player/Coach at the tournament.

The Uprising Fiji International 7s will be held at the TFL Stadium next Friday and Saturday.
