Flying Fijians flyhalf Nicky Little has signed a contract with Guinness Premiership club Bath on a one year contract.

The Fijian comes in for the injured Bath rugby star Butch James and while he starts on a one year deal, it is open for extension which will impress a greater challenge for the shirt on James, when fit, and on Ryan Davis.

Little is no stranger to the Guinness Premiership, having played for both Saracens and Sale Sharks and as Fiji's highest capped player, his expertise and experience will undoubtedly help Bath's European campaign get off to a good start.

Bath head coach Steve Meehan said that Little has plenty of experience, is a very reliable boot and while he is a relaxed character off the field, Nicky will fit well into the team.
