The Liquor Tribunal has clarified that the operating licenses of three nightclubs in the Central Division have been temporarily suspended until the 18th of this month.

Tribunal Secretary Ravin Narayan has confirmed that Bali Hai, Birdland and Kings nightclubs were given the temporary suspension letters after concerns were raised by members of the public and police that they are not OHS compliant and are allegedly contravening the conditions of their liquor license.

According to Narayan, Tribunal Chairman Magistrate Ajmal Gulab Khan will decide on the 18th of this month whether or not to lift the temporary suspension.
