Digicel Fiji 7s coach Iliesa Tanivula is putting more focus on the kickoffs and line-outs during training runs ahead of the New Zealand International 7s tournament in Wellington.
Speaking from Wellington, Tanivula said winning the kickoffs and line-outs is a very crucial component of the game, and most of the time winning a game depends on these two areas.
He said the players have responded well to his game plan.
Meanwhile, Lautoka forward Watisoni Votu received his visa today and will depart for Wellington this afternoon while Fiji Barbarians 7s captain William Rasileka lodged his visa application today and will leave tomorrow.
Votu replaced injured Nemaia Kenatale while Rasileka is a last minute inclusion after Pio Tuwai was ruled out because of a back injury.
The New Zealand International 7s tournament will kick off on Friday with Fiji's opening pool match against USA at 12:44pm.
