Dr Jiko Luveni and a group of senior health officials visited the Health Centre and while visiting the maternity ward, they experienced a blackout.
Media Liaison Officer for the group, Vasiti Ritova said the team was then informed by senior officers that they could not do much since they had a limited budget.
A total of $13 000 is set aside every year by the Health Office in Labasa to cover the cost of fuel for their generator and they have so far used $8,000.
