The adverse weather condition this morning claimed two lives.
A second woman has lost her life due to injuries sustained after being struck by lightning.
Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the second woman was walking in Waiqanake in Suva this morning with another woman who had died earlier today.
Police are calling on people to restrict their movements and try to stay indoors and parents are being urged to monitor their children.
