The National Netball coach has made a plea to the NZ government to lift the travel ban placed on sporting teams following the events of December 2006.
Melissa Walker wrote the letters yesterday as she wants to take the Under 21 Netball Fiji team to the upcoming tournament in Auckland.
Walker said she has been informed that all sports teams from Fiji are facing travel bans at this stage and this would deny Netball Fiji the much needed international game time.
The Under 21 team wants to leave next Thursday and the tournament kicks off in NZ on the 5th of next month.
