Lifetime opportunity in Fiji’s soccer history
Players like, Paulo Sergio, Carlos Da Silva known as Mineiro and Giovanni are part of Vodafone Fair Play Brazil Tour that will play two matches against the Fiji soccer team this week.
Tour organizers, Edge Management Group, Director Tomasi Tiko said there is a lot of hype and interest.
One of the Brazilian stars 43-year-old Paulo Sergio was part of the Brazilian team who won the 1994 World Cup. He also played in German and Italian soccer clubs.
37-year-old Mineiro played midfielder for Brazil in the 2006 World Cup. He also played for Chelsea football club in 2008.
Mineiro scored a famous goal against Liverpool in the final of the 2005 FIFA Club World Championship in Yokohama, Japan.
Another Brazilian, Giovanni De Oli-veira started his soccer career in 1995 and joined Brazilian club Santos in 1995.
Brazilian Legend Pelé had proclaimed Giovanni the "new Pelé". Between 2003 and 2004 he also played for Barcelona and Olympia-kos in Greece.
Fiji will face the Fair Play Brazil side this Thursday at Churchill Park and Govind Park this Saturday.
