With technology and other forms of entertainment creeping into our society, children are no longer into reading.
Those were the sentiments of Fiji Library Services Chief Librarian Merewalesi Vueti, as they prepare to open their library in Veiuto tomorrow in an effort to get not only children but adults to start reading books.
Vueti said the books offered at the library are new, of good quality and an extension and variation of what the Suva Carnegie Library provides.
The Library will be open from 8-5pm during the week and from 8.30 to 2pm on Saturdays.
