Fiji's Counselor to China Major Neumi Leweni is in the country with a team of Chinese officials to hold talks with the Fiji Ships and Heavy Industries Limited and other stakeholders for soft loan projects.
The Chinese Mission had been receiving a lot of pressure from China Exim Bank regarding the delay in the finalization of Fiji's Soft loan projects.
The group will also have consultations on the Water Supply projects in Sigatoka, Labasa and Savusavu and they are also interested in the rural roads and maritime infrastruture projects in Fiji.
