The military personnel appointed to the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption have legal advisers and consultants who deal with daily investigations.

Army spokesperson, Major Neumi Leweni was responding to ousted Vice President Ratu Joni Madraiwiwi's speech at the Fiji Law Society Convention at Denarau, that the military simply did not have the highly specialized skills required to combat graft and corruption.

Leweni said there is nothing new regarding the statement made by Ratu Joni and whatever Ratu Joni said is insignificant to the RFMF.
