The team from the Pacific Eye Institute who will be providing free eye clinics at Levuka Hospital from today is expected to extend the outreach to other parts of the country.
However, Health Ministry spokesperson Iliesa Tora said this will depend on the funding available as the institute receives money from donor agencies and government.
Tora said people of Levuka should take advantage of the free clinics being provided because people usually have to travel to Suva to get this service.
The team will be at the Levuka hospital from this morning till Friday.
