Levuka Town Council is seeking the support from the government through capital works and human resources in order to grow financially.
Special Administator Ratu Napolioni Masirewa said this is an issue that has been there for some time and also because of its population and physical isolation.
He believed only increased tourism activity in the old capital can boost their economy because of its heritage sites.
