The chairman of the Ra Provincial Council believes everyone should be given the chance to make up their own minds, on what they think of the draft People's Charter.
Ratu Meli Bolobolo said although the decision made by their Bose Ni Vanua to reject the Charter still stands, he feels that the people of Ra should be given the right to decide for themselves whether they accept or reject the Charter.
Ratu Meli said this is his own view on the matter and not that of the province of Ra.
