Flying Fijians 15s rugby coaching staffs are likely to opt for most of the players that played in the 16-16 draw against Wales when they name the team to take on Italy on Friday morning.

This will mean that some of the big names like Napolioni Nalaga, Norman Ligairi, Sireli Naqelevuki, Wame Lewaravu and Seru Rabeni could miss out on selection.

Manager, Talemo Waqa has confirmed that players like Josh Matavesi, Vereniki Goneva, Albert Vulivuli and Gabby Lovobalavu will start in the back-line while some of the local players will also have a chance to try and show their worth to the coaching team.

Waqa added that throughout this week in training forward coach Greg Mumm have worked with the players on a one to one basis showing them their mistakes from the game against Wales.

The Flying Fijian 15s rugby team to take on Italy will be name on Friday and Sunday's Test match kicks-off at 3am.
