The Coke Zero Deans 2009 champions, Lelean Memorial had a thanksgiving service at the Baker Hall in Davuilevu to celebrate the 30-8 win over Nasinu in the Under-19 finals at the Coke Zero Deans yesterday.
The LMS U-19 team created history by being the first team to defend the title, which has never been done by a team from Lelean before.
Speaking to Fijivillage sports, Lelean Principal, Aseri Rarokoliwa said that the academy has proven alot for his boys, as it gives them the opportunity to showcase the talent they have on the rugby field.
Rarokoliwa adds today's church service is the beginning of celebrations yet to come and they will make plans for further celebrations later.
Metuisela Talebula of Lelean was also awarded the ADIDAS Player of the Match at the finals yesterday.
