Lelean On Track to Retain Deans
The Davuilevu based school proved too strong for their opponents in all aspects of the game as they scored more than 10 tries in a one sided match affair this afternoon.
In the first U-19 quarterfinal, newcomers Lomawai Secondary School were unlucky to be beaten by Nasinu Secondary School 21-20.
Lomawai scored four unconverted tries to Nasinu’s two tries.
In other results from the U-14 grade, Suva Grammar thumped QVS 2 33 points to nil, QVS 1 thrashed Nabua 31-0, RKS edged Cuvu College 12-5 and Marist beat Natabua 17-7.
In the U-15 grade, the Grammarians again showed their class hammering QVS 18 points to nil, Natabua beat Marist 13-10, Lelean proved too good for Nilsen winning 21-10 while Natabua edged Marist 13-10.
The U-16 grade, QVS thrashed Ba Methodist 41-0 while Ratu Navula edged Grammar 6-5, RKS beat Cathedral 17-0 and Marist edged Lelean 13-3.
In the U-17 grade, Natabua qualified for the semifinal beating Dudley 22-5, RKS thumped Nilsen 34-3 while LMS and SGS are still playing at the Bidesi ground.
U-18 grade, QVS beat Ra High School 31-5 while LMS and Nabua are also still playing and the other quarterfinal between Nasinu and Natabua is also still underway.
