The oldest player in the Flying Fijian 15's rugby team is out to set a record for himself, when he takes the field tomorrow against the New Zealand Maori.

Speaking to Fijivillage Sports, Vice-Captain Kele Leawere is looking forward to end Fiji's 51 yr losing streak to the Maori at Churchill Park.

The 34yr old knows that the last time Fiji beat the visitors was in 1957, in Dunedin, where the Fiji team won 17-8.

Speaking to Fijivillage Sports, Leawere who was part of the Fiji team that lost to the Maori 29-27 in the last time in 2005, believes whichever team is hungry to win will come out on top tomorrow.
