Leave differences aside
That's the message from the Fiji camp from their Atlantis Palm Hotel in Dubai to the rugby nation with only a day left for the World Cup Sevens to kick off in the City of Gold on Friday morning.
After watching their second warmup match against Kenya yesterday, manager Alifereti Malo said the players know they have the support from home to do well this weekend.
Also teams like Samoa and South Africa are eyeing their first win in the Melrose Cup. South Africa which lost to Fiji in the 1997 final in Hong Kong is hungry to lay their hands on the title.
Coach Paul Treau who was a member of the 1997 team believes the World Cup has lifted the preparation of all the teams.
Meanwhile, Samoa captain Ofisa Treviranus said the IRB Sevens series is different from the World Cup as this tournament comes once every 4 years.
The 2009 World Cup Sevens will kick-off on Friday at 1am.
