Investigations are continuing.
These are the words of the Auditor General Eroni Vatuloka in relation to the investigations into the $180,000 leave payout awarded to Commander Frank Bainimarama since 1978.
When asked on when investigations would be completed and if the Commander was eligible for such a payout, Vatuloka only said investigations are continuing at this present time and refused to comment further on details and any other information on the investigations.
Earlier this year, it had been revealed that Bainimarama was awarded the payout for leave accumulated since 1978.
