Learn how to dispose of your rubbish correctly.

This is the message from Green Steps Fiji founder Alex Austin to people in Fiji, mainly to school children.

Austin advised that it would be good to start learning about a clean Fiji when young and when still in school, adding all people needs to know that rubbish belongs in a bin and not by the road side or in the sea.

Austin said Green Steps Fiji was formed two years ago with three main goals, one, to install public Rubbish bins around Suva, two, to clean up the environment and three, to educate the public.

More than 400 people turned up yesterday morning in the Green Steps Fiji organised Clean Up Suva Day campaign which included the clean up from Ratu Sukuna Road to Suva Point.
