The former chairman of the Kadavu Provincial Council Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo is calling on the current chairman Ratu Varani Rawaya to learn to listen to the decisions of the Tui Tavuki and to support the Charter team to visit the villages.
Nawalowalo said Rayawa's comments were uncalled for as he should know his role as chairman and that the provincial council is the arm of the government.
Yesterday Rayawa said that the Tui Tavuki Ratu Waqa Narokete should have consulted chiefs from various tikina's in Kadavu before he made the request to the people of Kadavu to support the draft People's Charter consultation process.
He said in the last provincial council meeting, Kadavu chiefs decided that they do not support the Charter.
