A leader is unbiased, totally dedicated and committed to their work and there is no such word as nepotism and despotism in the leader’s book.
Those were the words of NZPTC Chief Executive Officer James Dutta during the inaugural Annual Leadership summit "Community Leadership-Making a Difference" held at Novotel Hotel in Lami this morning.
During his address, Dutta urged the leadership alumni to show ownership and passion for his or her work and to be confident of the skills, expertise and knowledge.
He also stressed that leaders need to have a holistic approach and to look at things in a pro active manner.
Leadership Fiji is an initiative aimed specifically at assisting emerging leaders to cope with demands of the ever-changing world so that the society reaches its full potential in the widest sense
The Leadership Summit ends tonight with Leadership Fiji Awards.
