The New Zealand High Commission has given a boost of $10,000 to the Leadership Fiji programme under its Head of Mission fund to further the work carried out by Leadership Fiji.

Leadership Fiji chairman William Parkinson said the grant has come at an opportune time and the board, participants and the alumni are grateful for the assistance.

Meanwhile, Acting Head of the Mission Philip Taula appreciated the work done by the people involved in the programme for their commitment to develop the abilities of the future leaders of Fiji.

The High Commission has been a sponsor of its programme since 2002.

The 2010 Leadership Fiji programme has 25 participants from different organisations including media, the public sector, finance, commercial sector, non-government organisations and private business.
