With only eight hours remaining for the World Cup Sevens to kick off in the desert of Dubai, a number of the leaders who are currently differing on many issues, agree and want the Digicel Fiji Sevens team to return with the Melrose Cup.
Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama has wished the team all the best and said the whole of Fiji is behind Coach Iliesa Tanivula and the team.
Bainimarama said the good news from Dubai this week will certainly lift everyone's spirits and continue to give glory and honor to Fiji as Kings of Sevens rugby.
Former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase is also confident that the Melrose Cup will return to Fiji next week.
Fiji Labour Party leader Mahendra Chaudhry has also called on the Fiji 7's team to bring the Melrose Cup back home with them.
And National Federation Party General Secretary Pramod Rae also has his plans set from tomorrow.
The World Cup Sevens kicks off in Dubai at 1am tomorrow morning with Fiji playing its first match against Georgia at 4:16am.
