Leadership in our jobs means walking the talk.
Those were the sentiments of Fiji Prisons and Correction Services Commissioner Brigadier Iowane Naivalurua to his Pacific Island counterparts at the Second Heads of Pacific Islands Corrections Conference.
Brigadier Naivalurua said leaders need to lead by example if they want positive results.
Naivalurua added the conference will allow participants to appreciate and challenge the various programs taking place in Prisons with the ultimate aim to attract an overwhelmingly positive public support.
The Conference includes the Federated States of Micronesia, Kiribati, Nauru, Palau, PNG, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, Singapore and Fiji.
The Conference which is underway at the Forum Secretariat which ends on Thursday.
