Vodafone Ba soccer team goalkeeper Nicholas Lawrence and Australian based Shivan Swamy have pulled out from the Fiji soccer squad.

Nicholas has family commitments while Swamy broke his arm, playing in the New South Wales league on Tuesday.

Fiji soccer coach Carlos Buzetti said their replacements will be made soon.

Buzetti said two other players, Saveci Rokotakala and Pene Erenio from Navua may also be dropped from the squad as they have problems with their passports.

Fiji soccer team will play Vanuatu next Saturday in the World Cup qualifying round although they don't stand any chance of making it to the playoffs.

Fiji has already lost to New Zealand and drew with New Caledonia.
