Police have today confirmed that Fiji Law Society's annual general meeting has been cancelled.
When contacted by Fijivillage news, Director Police Operations, SSP Waisea Tabakau did not want to give any reason for the cancellation for the meeting that was to be called later this month.
Meanwhile, Fiji Law Society President, Dorsami Naidu confirms that they were granted the permit earlier, however it was cancelled last week.
Naidu said he will be writing to the authorities for reasons as to why the permit was cancelled.
The Annual General Meeting was scheduled to be held on the 26th of this month at "The Fijian Hotel".
