The Fiji Law Society is expected to look into a letter of complaint against Interim Attorney General alleging that he has taken an unlawful oath at its council meeting this morning.
Society President Isireli Fa has this morning confirmed that he has received a letter which is calling on the Fiji Law Society to undertake legal redress and disbar Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum for taking an unlawful oath as the 1997 Constitution is still in place.
Fa this morning confirmed that high on the agenda will be the issue, however, he refused to divulge any other information saying that he will comment after the meeting.
The Interim Attorney General is expected to comment later today.
