The National Soccer League board has rubbished reports that the match between Lautoka and Suva will not go ahead as scheduled.

Secretary Jainendra Sukhu said only the Fiji FA board has the authority to call off a match and not any president of a team.

Sukhu said a media outlet reported this morning that the match will not go ahead as both the teams have agreed to postpone the match because of Fathers day.

Sukhu confirmed the match will go ahead at 3pm this Sunday at Churchill park.

In other National soccer league matches this Sunday, Labasa takes on Nasinu at 1pm at Subrail park, at 3pm, Ba plays Tavua at Garvey park and Navua takes on Nadi at the TFL stadium.
