Lautoka soccer team will go into the Vodafone Fiji Fact tournament without its five top players.
Defender Samuela Vula, Apisai Smith, Ilaitia Tuilau and goalkeeper Alifereti Baleiloa have been dropped from the final 22-member squad.
All these players remain on suspension for breaking team protocols and it is believed that Jone Vono Junior will be banned for three years.
Lautoka soccer president Shalen Prasad said despite the setbacks, they have enough players who can fill in their shoes and perform well.
Prasad is confident that Lautoka will produce the goods in the tournament.
He said their three New Zealand based players Danny Robinson, Salesh Kumar and Jurteet Singh, will arrive next week.
Lautoka is on a bye in the opening round and plays Suva in their opening match on next Thursday at Churchill Park.
