The Lautoka soccer team wants to break its 28 year jinx of not winning the Inkk Mobile Battle Of the Giants.
Lautoka has only won the BOG title once in 1985.
Lautoka soccer President Shalendra Prasad said they have a good set of players but a couple of factors are hindering the preparations.
Prasad said due to the water problems in the past week the team has not been in camp and they also have not had proper training as Churchill Park has been unavailable.
He added the combination in the team is also an issue as Vanuatu players Jean Kaltak and Niko Jack have not trained with the other players.
Lautoka will play Rewa in its first match at Subrail Park this Saturday at 7.15pm.
In other matches Ba will meet Nadroga at 12.30pm, Suva will play Nadi at 3.15pm while at 5.15pm Labasa takes on Navua.
