The Lautoka soccer team is trying its best to secure the services of National and Rewa soccer team goalkeeper Simione Tamanisau for this season.

Lautoka soccer President Shalendra Prasad said the Blues fan club has to pay $4,000 for Tamanisau’s release.

Tamanisau’s departure will surely leave a big vacuum in Rewa’s goal-keeping area and the position is highly likely to be taken by his younger brother Uliasi Tamanisau.

If Tamanisau gets his release on time, he will feature for Lautoka in-front of his home fans this weekend.

The GP Batteries - Fiji Sun National Soccer League competition kicks off this weekend with the feature match at 3pm this Sunday between Rewa and Lautoka.

You can catch the live commentary of the match on our sister station Radio Sargam.
