Five renowned Lautoka soccer team players who were suspended before the BOG are back in training and will be in the starting lineup for the Blues against Suva in the National Soccer League match on Sunday.

Team manager Amit Kishor confirmed star striker Osea Vakatalesau, Valerio Nawatu, Apisai Smith and Leone Vurukania started training yesterday.

Meanwhile, Niumaia Tagi and Alivereti Baleiloa, whose suspensions have also been temporarily lifted, are in Suva and will start training from Monday.

With the inclusion of such high profile players, the Blues will be a team to watch after a dismal performance in the semifinals of the BOG.

Lautoka is currently leading the National Soccer League points table with 44 points and is closely chased by Ba who is in the second spot with 39 points.

Lautoka needs maximum points from Sunday's match as Ba is playing Tavua this week and the Men in Black are expected to close in on point’s difference.

The Lautoka and Suva match kicks off 3pm this Sunday at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Radio Sargam.
