Lautoka to start CVC training tomorrow
Association president Shalen Prasad said they had to delay the training after the death of their striker Valerio Nawatu's father, who passed away on the New Year's Day.
He said at the moment most of the players and officials are in Navua attending the funeral and they will regroup from tomorrow.
Prasad also confirmed that none of the players from Lautoka have applied for release to join other districts while interest has been shown from players from other districts to join the Blues camp this season and he is negotiating with them at this stage.
Prasad said Lautoka has never won the CVC Series and believes this is their best chance to put their name on the honours list.
Lautoka will play the opening game of the series against Ba next Wednesday at 7pm at Govind Park.
You can catch the live commentary of the match on our sister station Radio Sargam with Mikaele Kaloucava and Nadeem Mohammed.
