The Sugar City Lautoka soccer side defied all odds after winning both their National League games this weekend, despite their current coach, Dennis Singh sent on leave without pay, earlier in the week.

In yesterday's game, Lautoka thrashed the Babasiga Lions 6-nil and this afternoon they beat hosts Ba, by 3 goals to nil.

The capital city soccer side, Suva, held Tavua to a 1-all draw in the game that was held at the TFL stadium fhis afternoon.

The visiting Tavua side scored first in the first half but the capital city boys worked hard in the second spell to equal the scores.

In other League games played today: Nadi beat Rewa 2 goals to 1, Labasa made a comeback from last night's loss to beat Nadroga by 5 goals to 1 and Vatukoula beat Rakiraki 3-1.

The game between Tailevu North and Tailevu Naitasiri was cancelled due to bad weather.
