The Lautoka soccer team will share the $15,000 prize money they will get for winning the 2009 National Soccer League title.

Association President Shalen Prasad said the players deserve the share of the prize-money because of their hard work throughout the season and managing to break the 21yr-old jinx in the National League competition.

Prasad said celebrations may be put on hold, as they will now turn their focus to defend the Courts Homcentres IDC crown next month and also gear up for the O-League, in which Lautoka will compete for the first time.

He said once they complete all their games, a decision would be made on the celebration. Lautoka beat Navua 1-0 yesterday to win this year's National League title.
