The Lautoka soccer team is hoping for another victory over Marist FC from the Solomons, when the two teams clash in round two of the O-League competition.

In the first leg in Honiara, Lautoka won the match 3-1 and they currently lie in second place in Group B with 6 points.

Association President Shalen Prasad said his side has an upper hand against Marist, as they do not stand any chance of making it to the playoffs after losing all the three games so far.

Prasad said Lautoka is also looking for a first home victory in the O-League after they lost to Vanuatu's Tafea FC last year.

He said players have been training well and should come out victors on Sunday afternoon.

Lautoka must win this weekend's match to have any chance of making it to the final from Group B.

The Lautoka/Marist FC match will kick off on Sunday 3pm at Churchill Park.
