The Lautoka soccer association has retained Australian based Dennis Singh as their coach for this season.
Association president Shalen Prasad said Singh has agreed on their terms and conditions to remain as coach for 2009.
Prasad said with Dennis Singh coming in, this means that former Navua coach Gurjeet Singh who was interested in coaching Lautoka this season, will now have to look for another district.
Singh will officially start his job from today and his first assignment is to help Lautoka win the Champion vs Champion soccer series title for the first time.
He was away overseas, when Lautoka lost the first leg 1-0 to Ba a fortnight ago but to win the title they must beat Ba by two clear goals this Friday.
